There is always something to escape from…..
These are little stories with no beginning or end. Women on the lam. I am influenced by the films of the 1950’s and 1960’s which were a study in fantasy and anxiety. Through this cinematic lens, I focus on what has not changed for contemporary women.
Even though The Girl Who Escaped and Other Stories is an extended staged narrative, each image is its own escape.
